Our first attempt at "The Great Loop" trip

Our first anchor was in back of the Statue of Liberty. There is a state park called Liberty Island Park where you can drop your anchor and stay there overnight. It is beautiful because you wake up and the first thing you see is the majestic lady with her torch.

So here we are, just my husband and myself heading down the Long Island Sound. This is a picture of our boat as we left heading for Miss Liberty.

The Beginning

Many people have commented to me that I should really tell my story about our boat, our trip and my business. So, I will start at the beginning and work my way through. This picture is of my family who I have left behind on Long Island, and whom I miss more than I could possible tell you.

So our trip begins in July of 2006. We leave Mr. Sinai Harbor, Long Island and begin up the Long Island Sound in our boat "Time Out". It is a 43 foot trawler and away we go!!!
